Free data lives on your device
On the free plan, meetings, people, and rates are stored in your browser's local database. Our servers hold your account, your monthly meeting count, and any receipt you chose to share. Nothing else.
Because free data lives on one device, the device backup file is free for everyone. Download it from Settings and restore it on any device.
Pro sync is encrypted at rest
When you sync with Pro, names, rates, and notes are encrypted with a key unique to your workspace. That key is held apart from the database. No admin screen shows these fields, and our logs redact them.
Shared receipts carry no names, roles, or rates
A receipt link shows totals only: cost, duration, cost per minute, person-hours, and the attendee count. The API schema rejects any receipt that includes a name, role, or rate, and a test checks that it does. You can delete a shared receipt at any time, which turns the link off.
Nothing sensitive on the live screen by default
The running meter shows the total. Per-person costs appear only when you tap to show them, and they hide again after 10 seconds. Presenter mode shows the total and the clock, nothing else.
No tracking scripts
The app has no ad or tracking scripts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies.
Delete means delete
Deleting your account removes your data from our servers and turns off every receipt link you shared. Data on your device is yours to clear.
How it is built
- Sign in with a 6-digit email code. Codes and sessions are stored hashed.
- Read-only API tokens (Pro) are stored hashed and can be revoked from Settings.
- Every input to the API is validated. Public endpoints use strict schemas.
- Payments go through Stripe. Card details never reach our servers.
- Pages are served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy.
