No. The free plan is the trial. It has no time limit and needs no card. ### What is the founding price? Pro costs $5 a month or $48 a year for founding members. We add 30% for taxes and benefits. An $85,000 salary comes to $53.13an hour. Hourly rates, which is how most consultants bill, are used as entered. The meter multiplies each person's hourly cost by the time since you pressed start, minus any time paused. It works from timestamps, so a sleeping tab does not lose time. This is the same cost engine the Meetor app uses. The app adds a roster of real people and rates, receipts you can share, and a dashboard of where the money goes. ## Nothing leaves this page There is no account and no storage. The calculator makes no network requests. We treat them that way. Meetor only works if owners trust it with pay data. This page states what we do, in plain terms. ## Free data lives on your device On the free plan, meetings, people, and rates are stored in your browser's local database. Our servers hold your account, your monthly meeting count, and any receipt you chose to share. Nothing else. Because free data lives on one device, the device backup file is free for everyone. Download it from Settings and restore it on any device. ## Pro sync is encrypted at rest When you sync with Pro, names, rates, and notes are encrypted with a key unique to your workspace. That key is held apart from the database. No admin screen shows these fields, and our logs redact them. ## Shared receipts carry no names, roles, or rates A receipt link shows totals only: cost, duration, cost per minute, person-hours, and the attendee count. The API schema rejects any receipt that includes a name, role, or rate, and a test checks that it does. You can delete a shared receipt at any time, which turns the link off. ## Nothing sensitive on the live screen by default The running meter shows the total. Per-person costs appear only when you tap to show them, and they hide again after 10 seconds. Presenter mode shows the total and the clock, nothing else. ## No tracking scripts The app has no ad or tracking scripts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies. ## Delete means delete Deleting your account removes your data from our servers and turns off every receipt link you shared. Data on your device is yours to clear. ## How it is built - Sign in with a 6-digit email code. Codes and sessions are stored hashed. - Read-only API tokens (Pro) are stored hashed and can be revoked from Settings. - Every input to the API is validated. Public endpoints use strict schemas. - Payments go through Stripe. You type a head count and an average salary, press start, and watch a number climb. There is no setup. For a single moment of clarity, that is enough. Our own free calculator works this way. ## Where it stops - It forgets. When you close the tab, the number is gone, so there is no history and no pattern. - Everyone costs the same. An average hides the difference between a junior hire and a partner. - Outside help is invisible. The free calculator sends nothing to our servers. ## What we do not collect We do not record, listen to, or transcribe meetings. We do not read your calendar. We do not connect to payroll. ## Who we share it with Service providers that run Meetor for us: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), and our email provider (sign-in codes and the weekly digest). Each gets only what it needs. We do not sell or rent personal data. ## How long we keep it Account data is kept while your account exists. If a Pro subscription ends, synced data is kept for 90 days so you can resubscribe, then removed from our servers. We may suspend accounts that do. ## Availability and changes We work to keep Meetor running, but we provide it as is, without warranties. We may change features.
